Mrs. Patterson was the founding principal of Parrish Charter Academy, which opened in 2019 with just over 200 students. Under her leadership, the school grew to serve more than 900 students in just six years, becoming a model of academic excellence and community engagement. She is excited to be back in the role of Interim Principal as PCA transitions into a new and exciting era.

Mrs. Patterson holds a Bachelor of Arts from Flagler College and a Master of Education from Concordia University, along with a Florida K–6 teaching certification and Reading & ESOL endorsements. Her background includes almost 2 decades of experience in teaching, coaching, and charter school leadership.

As an Army brat, Mrs. Patterson lived in diverse places such as Washington, D.C., and Vicenza, Italy, experiences that shaped her global outlook and passion for service. These values continue to influence her work, particularly her advocacy for Experiential Learning and STEAM Education, which she believes helps students connect deeply with their learning through hands-on, real-world experiences.

Known for her visible leadership style and open-door philosophy, Mrs. Patterson values strong communication and collaboration among all stakeholders. She is excited to bring her passion for student success and instructional excellence to her role, supporting Parrish Charter Academy in delivering high-quality, student-centered education.
